For more than 18 years, I have offered piano lessons in Massachusetts to children and youth of all ages, in your home. I also restart adults who wish to re-engage their piano skills.
My approach is “progress not perfection”, striving for the best musicality as possible. Lessons incorporate a blend of music theory, technique, and articulation.
I teach piano lessons in Massachusetts in various towns in Worcester and Middlesex counties, including these area towns: Acton, Bolton, Clinton, Grafton, Harvard, Holden, Hudson, Lancaster, Marlboro, Maynard, Millbury, Northboro, Rutland, Southboro, Sterling, Stow, and Worcester.
I communicate compassionately with shy piano students who underplay the instrument, and I teach them dynamic expression. For bold students who overpower the instrument, I teach dynamic subleties.
In addition to teaching piano to many children, youth and adults for the past 18 years, I have been the Music Director of Serenity Coffeehouse, Worcester, Massachusetts (serenitycoffeehouse.org). Young student musicians and their teachers from Pakachoag Music School, Worcester Music Academy, Joy of Music Program and private studios have enjoyed the experience of performing concert programs. Violin, Cello, Piano, Vocal, and Brass teachers have welcomed the opportunity to showcase their eager students before a receptive audience of families, friends and faculty.
Serenity Coffeehouse provides an intimate venue for music students who have steadfastly taken many lessons. Serenity Coffeehouse is an outreach ministry, featuring beginners, intermediate and advanced musicians from diverse ethnic backgrounds and a myriad of Massachusetts and New England communities. Serenity Coffeehouse is a grassroots artistic organization with significant impact on the cultural horizon.
